Tools
While software applications are vital tools, they're akin to kitchen appliances like ovens, microwaves, or air fryers. Just as these appliances cook food but don't create recipes, it's crucial for a designer to craft a solid design solution before using these tools to bring it to life.

As I transitioned my design career toward user experience design, I've harnessed the advantages of adopting an agile and human-centred design approach in my work. While recognising that many projects don't follow a linear path, I've consistently integrated design thinking methodologies, like the Double Diamond, into my design practice.
The Double Diamond brings clarity and direction while helping construct a solid understanding of users' wants and needs. This helps to guide and steer what can often feel like a chaotic creative process towards a practice that utilises meaningful insights and also defines and tests practical solutions.
Previous experience
With 17 years of professional experience, I’ve most recently been specialising in brand strategy, internal communications, digital design and marketing. I have the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and graphical styles and always add strategic value to any given task. I’m capable of leading a project from ideation right through to delivery.
